Gates of iron, doors of brass

Thy shoes shall be iron and brass,
and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.
Certainly, by Libra most of the harvesting will have finished. And the harvest festivities would be in full swing. Wine flowed and Bacchus danced; a new oil pressed. There can be little doubt that the shoes of brass and iron represent the pans of the scales. The NIV, has gates, instead of shoes. Indeed, there are accounts if statues of Hercules holding a gate above his head, that he had ripped out of the ground. That is because Libra was the marker, barrier, or border between the end of Summer and the start of Autumn. [see Samson and Hercules for a fuller explanation.]
Amongst the disciples, Thomas is allotted to the house of Libra. For he said to be doubting, which is part of the Libra-in mind set, being able to see both sides of any argument, and sitting on the fence, rather than taking a stand on either side without seeing absolute proof of one or the other. Most if not all of those who write about the general deposition of those born under a particular sign, make some bad mistakes, one being that those born under Libra make good negotiators, without realizing that this gate only ever opens one way, it can never let Summer enter Autumn, but it always allows Autumn to destroy Summer.
John 24. Now Thomas (called Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So, the other disciples told him, AWe have seen the Lord!
But he said to them,
Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it.
