About Alcmaeon

Was one of the sons of Amphiaraus and Europhile, his brother was named Amphilochids. Their father deceived by his wife went on the ill-fated expedition against Thebes, but before he left he asked his two young sons to avenge him and kill their mother as soon as the old enough. Sure-enough their father did not return
