About Tefnut

Tefnut was the sweat exuded by the Earth, called Geb by the ancient Egyptians, who sweated through fear on being informed by his mother and lover Nut, that the Sun God Ra- Re, had opened his great Eye at being awakened by the noise of their passionate and continuous love making, had sent forth his burning rays of light, called Shu, to burn Geb to death. In total dread and fear the Earth-Geb began to sweat as never before, very soon he was hidden by great foggy mists of sweat, that weaved around him like clouds, and he called her Tefnut, his first daughter. And as like an innocent naked child she danced furtively amongst her swirling veils, and as Shu approached and glimpsed her tantalizing nakedness dancing like Salome before Herod, he was instantly besotted, and utterly stricken, by the arrows of lust and love, and the fire of destruction was just as quickly quenched by those of desire. Tefnut feeling the warmth of his passion, willingly embraced him, and their union was quickly consummated, and they brought forth the most beautiful of daughters, and the called her Atmosphere. Words rarely lose their meaning: therefore, we have Tefal, non-stick, non-burn cookware. The same technology has been used in space crafts.
