About Amphiaraus

He was the son of Oecles and Hypermnestra, a daughter of Thestius and Eurythemis, and had two sisters called, Iphianeira and Polyboea. He married Eriphyle, sister of Adrastus, with whom he had two sons, Alcmaeon and Amphilohcus.
