About Argus

Was the builder of the ship Argo under the guidance of Athena, he was also recorded as carving on wooden statue of Hera which became a cult object amongst the Tiryns, his parentage is disputed. Argia and Polybus, are given, one source says he originated from Thespiae, I will deal in more detail on these point in Jason.
