About Prothous

Reported to be a son of Thestius, although no mother is named directly, he is said to be the brother of Althaea, therefore he might have been the son of Eurythemis, the mother of Althaea, although she was only one of Thestius's suggested consorts, one source makes Leucippe Althaea mother? He was one of the great number of heroes and gods who participated in the great hunt of the Calydonian Boar, and apparently survived it.
