About Eurybius

One of the sons of Eurystheus and Antimache. Both He and his brothers were killed in battle by the Athenians, a war that came about when the Athenians refused to hand over the Heracleidae (descendants of Heracles) to Eurystheus, king of the Mycenae, although some say he was king of Argos? Yet another tradition has that Eurybius, and Perimedes along with an unknown brother called Eurypylus were killed by Heracles at a feast held to honour his completion of the twelve labours, because they gave him a smaller portion of the food than themselves.
