The ancient Greek Gods and Goddess contain a wealth of stories and legends, wrapped in Myths which typically provide a story with a morale code designed to influence the reader into behaviour as fitting Greek culture of the era.

Poly, is a word the Greeks often place in front of another, word such as Polydeuces, it signifies duality, forces united but seemingly in opposition. When applied to characters, it implies they possess dual personalities, this is most obvious in Castor' brother Polydeuces who can be mortal and immortal, seen, and yet unseen at the same time, he who can trans-send between Heaven and Earth, as Mercury can, conveying human things to the gods, and conveying the messages of the gods to human beings. That is why the Gemini twins, can be portrayed as a boy and a girl, in some cultures-beliefs, representing both good and bad, positive and Negative combined in one union. Indeed, it is one of the most, if not the most important attributes of nature, energy equals life, but it requires, that is to say is generated by two opposite forces combing or clashing with each other. It is often translated as signifying, many or much, but really signifies two or double.
