About Sisyphus

He was the son of Aeolus and Enarete (virtue), and had five brothers, Athamas, Salmoneus, Cretheus, Perieres, Deioneus, and three sisters, Alcyone, Perimede, and Canace. He first married Merope the daughter of Atlas and Pleione, and she bore him, Glaucus, Ornytion, Almus, and Sinon, and he had large herd of cattle. See SV.
