About Sthenelus

He was the husband of Alcmena, and one of eight sons born to Perseus and Andromeda, king of Mycenae and father of three children Eurystheus, Alcyone (who the Arcadian centaur Homadas tied to rape and was subsequently killed by Heracles,) and Medusa by his wife Nicippe.
