Lelax was married to a nymph called Cleocharia, and he had four sons. Myles, Polycaon, Cleson and Pterelaus (the first), sources vary on who his parents were, Poseidon and Libya, Helios the Sun god or he was autochthonous (that is born directly from the land, without mother or father.)
