About Protogeneia

Was the daughter of Erechtheus and Praxithea, she had six sisters, Procris, Merope, Pandora, Creusa, Orithyia Chthonia, and four brothers, Pandorus, Metion, Cecrops, and Orneus. She and her sisters swore an oath that if either of them died the others would commit suicide. Chthonia was sacrificed by her father, and she and Pandora did as they had sworn.
