About Abas

Son of Lynceus and Hypermnestra, husband of Algaia, or Ocalea, reported as the twelfth king of Argos in Greece. He fathered three male children, a set of twins, Acrisius and Proetus, and a daughter called Idomene. Abas was also reported to have had an Illegitimate son called Lyrcrus.
