About Chalciope

She was the daughter of king Aeetes who he gave in marriage to Phrixus, son of Athamas and Nephele, she had several children, including Argus, Prontis, Melas [black] Cytisorus [clover season] and perhaps Presbon [right of inheritance]. When her husband was killed by her father, she remained faithful to him, and went into exile with him.
