Nostradamus Century 3, Verse 27

If France, you pass beyond the sea of Liguria,
You will see yourselves enclosed in the islands of the sea;
Mahomet against you, more the Adriatic,
You will gnaw the bones of horses and ass's.

Nostradamus Century 2, Verse 86

Wreck of the fleet near the Adriatic Sea:
The land trembles stirred in the air and placed on land:
Egypt trembles as Mohammedan power increases,
The Herald (or, king of the army) surrenders himself and is forced to cry out.

Far into Iberia, to the kingdom of Granada,
Crosses beaten back by the people of Mohammad,
One of Cordoba will betray his country.
