A Bireme, is a ship with 2 banks of oars, thought to have been developed by the Phoenicians. A Trireme, is a ship with 3 banks of oars, as used by the Phoenicians, the Greeks and the Romans.

With medical supplies secured will flourish once more:

Ephesus was famous for its ancient temple of Artemis, the first temple was destroyed by flood in the 7th century BC, and was reconstructed from around 550BC. The 2nd temple was destroyed by Arson in 356 BC, the year of Alexandra the Great's birth: Plutarch remarked that Artemis was too preoccupied with delivery of Alexander to save her burning temple. And when he visited the city and found the inhabitants had not finished rebuilding it, he offered to finance it. But the people refused his offer saying it was not right for one god to pay for the building of another gods temple. [Plutarch's the life of Alexander.]

After having rested they will wander into Epirus,
The great relief (effort) will come towards Antioch:

Turning human flesh to ashes through death:
At the Isle pf Pharos, disturbed by the Crusaders (Croissars),
When at Rhodes a hard apparition will appear.

There will appear towards the north,
Not far from Cancer, (June-July) the bearded star (estoile chevelue):
Susa, Siena, Boeotia, Eretria,
The great One of Rome will die, the night over.
The chief who will have conducted an infinite number of people,
Far from skies of their own, of customs and tongues (mixed):
5000 will perish in Crete and Thessaly,
The chief flees, saved by a supply (grain) ship.
