Nostradamus Century 7, Verse 23

The Royal Sceptre will be obligated to take,
That which his predecessors had pledged
Since that the ring they will not understand,
When then one will come to sack the palace.

Nostradamus Century 6, Verse 3

The river that tries the new Celtic heir
Will be great discord with the Empire:
The young Prince through the ecclesiastic people
Will remove the Sceptre of the crown of peace.

Nostradamus Century 2, Verse 69

The French king through his Celtic right hand,
Will see the discord of the great monarchy:
He will make his Sceptre flourish over the 3 parts,
Against the Cappe of the great Hierarchy.

Nostradamus Century 6, Verse 24

Mars and the Sceptre will found allied,
Under Cancer calamitous war:
Shortly after a new king will be anointed,
One who for a long time will pacify the earth.

Nostradamus Century 8, Verse 61

Never by the light of day,
Will he come to hold the Sceptre bearing sign,
Until his sieges have been laid to rest,
Bearing to the Cock gift of TAG armifere.

Nostradamus Century 4, Verse 10

The young Prince falsely accused,
Will put in trouble the army in quarrels,
The chief murdered for his support,
The Sceptre will bring calm: then will cure the king's evil.

Nostradamus Century 1, Verse 32

The great Empire will soon be transferred,
To a small place which will soon come to increase:
Very tiny and cramped place for a County (county- shire?),
In the middle of which he will come to place his Sceptre.

Nostradamus Century 5, Verse 6

The Augur putting his hand upon the king's head,
Will come to pray for peace in Italy:
To his left hand he will transfer the Sceptre,
From a king, he will become an Emperor of peace.

Nostradamus Century 1, Verse 62

What a great loss, alas! There will be to letters,
Before the cycle of Latona (Moon) is completed:
Fire, great flood and more through ignorant Sceptres,
That will not be seen restored for a long time.

Letters- learning, education etc. sceptre= a (royal) sceptre; also, a monarchy, kingdom, absolute ruler, Sovereign in chief.

Nostradamus Century 10, Verse 57

The uplifted one will not understand his sceptre,
He will dishonour the young children of greatest ones:
Never, not ever was there a more odious and cruel being,
For their wives, the black one will banish to death.

Nostradamus Century 5, Verse 48

After the great affliction of the Sceptre,
2 enemies will be defeated by them:
A fleet from Africa will appear before those of Hungary,
By sea and land terrible deeds will take place.

Africa, those whom Nostradamus refers to as Barbarians.

Nostradamus Century 5, Verse 14

Saturn and Mars in Leon Spain captive,
By the African chief (Libyan) trapped in the conflict,
Near Malta, Herrode captured alive,
And the Cock will strike down the Roman Sceptre.
