Nostradamus Century 5, Verse 4

The gross matin (mastin- dog) chased out of the city,
Angered by a foreign alliance,
After having chased the stag to the fields
The Wolf and the Bear will defy each other.

Nostradamus Century 9, Verse 8

The younger one made king will put his father to death,
After the conflict a thrice dishonest death:
Inscription found, suspicion will bring remorse,
When the Wolf chased out is laid on the couch-bed.

Nostradamus Century 3, Verse 33

In the city where the Wolf will enter,
The enemies will be very near,
The foreign army will lay waste to the great country.
At the wall of the Alps the friends passing.

Nostradamus Century 2, Verse 82

Through famine the prey-victim, will make the Wolf prisoner,
The aggressor then in great distress,
