The heirs of Romulus are the people of Italy, so called from the Roman myth of the foundation of Rome by the twins Remus and Romulus.
There are no less than 13 Megalithic Temples on Malta, and their size is mind blowing. However, sooner or later, they along with all the inhabitants will be gone; Fontbrune was not far off on this one.
From a place not far from Venus,

Messina is the 3rd largest city on the island of Sicily, almost opposite the tip of Italy's big toe.

Nolte was bastardised to rhyme with Malte, end of line 2. I suspect Noel, Christmas.
