The verses herein directly relate to The MACEDONIAN. Characters who are also connected to The MACEDONIAN are treated separately: see also Blond One, Persian, France, Arab, Mohammad, England. Additional verses will be added from time to time, and commentary as fitting based on the feedback received to Nostradamus on The MACEDONIAN.
Yellow Text indicates a link to a supporting book, century or verse from Nostradamus
And blonde Ferdinand (blonde elect?) will be forsaken,
To abandon the Fleur, to serve the Macedon:
In his great need, his course will fail,
And he will march against the Myrmidon.
Oddly, I find all 3 Authors have 'descorte' at the end of line one? I see 'deserte'. I find no descorte, in French, unless they take it from, discorder, etc, basically to undo, untwist?
The Fleur, is either that of Rome, or Fleur de lys, of France.
[of 'myrmidon', the water reveals nothing pacific, I see, a leech, as one who would suck his own or others blood, the light bounces off the water as if it was a mirror image, I hold my hands like wings above my head, and the glare goes, and I see beneath, I see Achilles leading the people of Thessaly the Myrmidons into battle.]
The enemy very far from the fort,
Will be brought by chariots to the Bastion:
There upon the walls of Bourges empty,
When Hercules will strike the Haemathion (Macedonian).
The fair-Blond One and forked nosed one will come to perpetuate an offence?
Through a duel, and will chase him out,
He will restore the exiles within,
And place the strongest of them on the coasts.
I am not happy with my first off the cuff translation, I suspect, and it may be translated as 'the Blond One to the forked nose will yield (his power)? And that the yielding party of the duel will be, chased out-exiled? Both characters appear in other verses, more input needed.
At night in bed, the supreme one strangled,
For having tarried to long with the blond elect;
Through fear the Empire split into 3,
Put to death, papers and packet unlit (not seeing the light of day- unread.)
I cannot agree with the Authors, who have, 'the Empire enslaved' in line 3? EL & JH. Say that 'exancle' is from the Latin 'enanclatus'= enslaved, suffered?
I know not on what authority?
The word is corrupted for poetic licence, to rhyme with Estangle, end of line one. If it be Latin, it is from, 'exancl-o -are etc. to draw off, drain, to go through. But I favour the French 'exangue', bloodless, pale, fearful?
Subroge. Substituted, deputed, appointed in the place of another.
Flaming torch in the night sky will be seen,
Near the end and beginning of the Rosne [rhone]
Famine, sword: the relief slow incoming,
The Persian, turns to invade Macedonia. [basically Greece, Alexander the Great was a Macedonian.]
Through fire and arms not far from the Black Sea,
He will come from Persia to occupy Trebizond, [Trabzon.]:
Pharos, Methelin, tremble, the Sun happy,
The Adriatic Sea covered in Arab blood.
Trebizond, part of NE Turkey. Pharos, is part of Egypt, most famous for the Pharos lighthouse.
Methelin, EL. Gives Mytilene, but, JH. & MR, render 'Mitylene?' odd. Anyway, Mytilene, Gk , Mytilini, is on Lesbos, off the coast of Turkey. MR, renders Pharos as Paros? A tiny island of little significance? All 3 are misguided.
By 2 heads and three arms,
The great city vexed by waters;
Some of the great ones among them, led astray by the exiles,
By the chief (head) of Persia Byzantium hard pressed.
The Authors have failed to grasp line 3, thinking some of the great ones, have gone into exile. This is not the case, the exiles are in the city, and lead astray some of those, in various positions of power.
Line 1, is completely misunderstood by the Authors. JH, goes on about Hindu gods, MR, about Ottomans?
Now there are 2 characters referred to as Lions, being, perhaps father and son, both would have 3 Lions in their coats of arms, those 2 heads and 3 arms, whether this pair be the ones in question, who knows, but that is the true sense of the line.
The AEmathion (Macedonian) to pass the Pyrenees mountains,
In war (mars) Narbonne will not resist;
By land and sea, he will carry out his plot,
Cap. Will not have land safe to reside in.
In the time of mourning the feline monarch,
Will make war on the young Aemathien, (Macedonian):
France (Gaule) shakes, the bark (barge) perilous,
Marseille to be tested, (or tempted.) to the West maintained.
Bransler: To totter, shake, stagger, reel etc, ponant= the west. Tenter= to tempt; to prove, try, soundout, essay, attempt; also, to suggest, provoke or move to do evil.
Upon the combat of the great light horseman,
They will proclaim the great crescent fallen:
To kill by night in the mountains dressed as shepherds,
Reds thrown into the deep ditch.
In the 3rd climate under Aries comprising the year 1727 in October,
The king of Persia captured by those of Egypt:
Conflict, death, loss, of the Cross great rebuke,
1727, is not the true year, that is forbidden, as I have said before, you must add, the year of liturgy, which, one?
Rain, famine, war in Persia not finished,
Too much faith will betray the monarch,
To end there, but begun in France,
Secret sign for the one not to let his guard down.
Line 4. Un ester parque? For one too settled?
France through neglect assaulted on 5 fronts,
Tunis and Algiers stirred up by the Persians:
Leon, Seville and Barcelona to fail,
Because of the Venetians denied the ships.
The entry at Blaye by Rochelle and the English,
Passing beyond the great Aemathien (Macedonian):
Not far from Agen the French will wait,
help from Narbonne deceived through their entreaties.
A terrible plague in Perynte (Preveza) and Nicopolis,
The Chersonese (peninsula) will hold, and Marceloyne:
It will devastate Thessaly (or, Thessalonika?) and amphipolis,
Evil unkown (or not recognised) and the refusal of Anthony (Anthione.)
Marceloyne - mar-ce-loin-e, Macedonia-n?
The great conflict that they are preparing for at Nancy,
The Macedonian (Aemathien) will boast, I will subjugate all:
The British Isles anxious over the lack of salt and wine.
Hem. Mi, 2 Phi. Will not hold feasts for a long time.
King saluted victor and Emperor,
The faith falsified, the royal deed made known:
Of Mathien blood, king made conqueror,
Of an arrogant people humbled through tears.
The great conflict that they are preparing for (or, at) Nancy,
The Macedonian (Aemathien) will say, I will conquer all:
The British Isle in anxiety over (lack of) salt and wine,
Hem. Mi. 2 Phi (Philip) for a long time will not hold mets.
Mets, as mes= mess, a course of dishes at table, or service of meat; also, a house, or tenement. Thus, will not feast for a long time.
